Rosenberg Main Street and Tourism Manager Jackie Wehring is excited to bring back an old event. And she’s doing just that with the Spring Artisan Market on Saturday, March 28, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Historic Downtown Rosenberg.

“We did have an artisan market in Historic Downtown in October 2019 and the event was a great success,” Wehring recalled. “We decided to bring the Artisan Market back this spring to showcase our downtown and give our local artisans a venue to sell their goods.”

Patrons are invited to browse handcrafted items, local art and unique gifts while enjoying live music and a variety of foods.

“We are so excited to host this free event at the same time as the Railroad Museum’s RailFest event,” Wehring said. “It will be a great day in downtown with events throughout, store specials, live music, restaurants, food trucks, shopping and more.”

The downtown shops will be participating with sales and specials throughout the event and vendors will be set up with many finds including handcrafted jewelry, custom furniture and one-of-a-kind artwork. Wehring said she expects hundreds of people to attend Saturday’s event.

“Rosenberg Main Street looks forward to bringing people downtown to experience a unique marketplace,” Wehring continued. “We have so many wonderful shops that will be open and great vendors that will be joining us with all sorts of goods. We have new shops to visit in our downtown and lots of new artisan vendors joining us.”

“Approximately 40 vendors with handcrafted goods (will showcase) artwork, soaps, candles, jewelry, clothing, local honey, yard art and more,” Wehring said. “We have vendors coming from all over the Greater Houston area bringing unique artisan goods. “Our charming downtown shops will be open with store specials as well. We look forward to seeing our return customers as well as new faces on Rosenberg Main Street.”
