For the first time since its inception, the Pecan Harvest Festival will feature a Little Miss Pecan Contest.

The 2021 Pecan Harvest Festival will run from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 21, in Historic Downtown Richmond.

Contestants will be judged according to age groups. Girls aged 3 to 5 years old will compete for the title of Little Miss Peanut; 5 to 6 years old for Little Miss Acorn; 7 to 8 years old for Little Miss Walnut; and 8 to 10 years old for Little Miss Pecan.

Judging happens at Fort Bend Museum’s Historic 1883 Moore Mansion.

The entry fee is $35 and includes a special T-shirt and professional image taken that day.
