It’s time to get out those favorite recipes, try some new ones and share secret ingredients.
The Fort Bend Herald’s Annual Holiday Cookbook will be published Nov. 19, filled with hundreds of mouth-watering recipes.
The cookbook will feature winners in seven categories: appetizers and beverages, breads, cakes, desserts, meats and main dishes, salads, and vegetables.
Winners of each category will be awarded $50.
The deadline to enter is 12 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30.
Qualified judges who are also excellent cooks will do blind judging.
Judging will be based solely on the recipes, with only the winners in each category required to prepare their entries.
Winners will be notified by phone, so your name and phone number should be included with each recipe.
Winning chefs will need to bring their creations to the Fort Bend Herald on Monday, Nov. 16, when they will be photographed for the cookbook.
You may enter four recipes in each category.
Get your recipes in as soon as possible. Don’t be left out.
