About 40 area residents braved difficult weather last weekend to attend the Second Annual Friends of Scouting breakfast held at Safari Texas in the Richmond area. Mark Troth, finance chairman, was the master of ceremonies for the event, which is a fundraiser for the Brazos District of Boy Scouts of America. The Brazos District boundaries are basically the footprints of Lamar Consolidated ISD and Needville ISD.
